Ashtanga Yoga

History teaches us one thing very clearly. Whenever rulers wanted to weaken a nation, they never attacked only weapons or wealth. They first attacked itsKnowlege source- its scriptures, culture, and wisdom They distracted the youth, replaced truth with myths, and projected the false as reality. Once the mind was confused, the roots of identity were shaken. Unfortunately, today the same thing is happening with Yoga.Knowlege source- its scriptures, culture, and wisdom Yoga—the path of steadiness, awareness, and liberation has been reduced to only asana flow. People think Yoga means just movements, flexibility, or a new workout trend. And what is even more painful—today Yoga is turned into entertainment. New names are put in front of Yoga, and strange experiments begin—beer yoga, goat yoga, power yoga, aerial yoga and many more. This is the level to which our sacred tradition is being dropped down. But let us remember, the meaning of Asana is steadiness. Stability of body and mind. The flow is not Yoga—True Yoga begins where stillness begins. Today, 80% of even the basic yogic concepts are unknown to people. Why? Because wrong and distorted knowledge is bombarded on our minds daily. That is why it is our sincere duty—as practitioners, as teachers, as seekers—to preserve Yoga in its true form. Not diluted, not distorted, not made into entertainment—but shared as enlightenment, as our tradition, our wisdom, our identity. So whenever you step on the mat, remember: You are not just exercising your body—you are becoming self-aware, preserving a tradition. You are not just stretching—you are steadying the mind. You are not just doing Yoga—you are living Yoga.
